We're bringing everyone we love to the edge of the Pacific for a weekend of sun, salt air, and celebration. We can't wait to share it with you.

How it happened

Our Story

Our story began at Sunset Cliffs, where we met one evening and talked for hours as the sun went down over the water. From that very first conversation, God continued to grow and mature our love for one another.

Then, on November 23rd, the big day arrived. At Cabrillo National Monument, along the cliffside with the waves crashing below and our whole family quietly watching, Unick dropped to one knee without Ariana seeing it coming.

The Day

Ceremony and reception are both at Botanica, set among the tropical gardens, waterfall, and under all the lights. Here's the flow.

    Guest Arrival

    Find your seat among the gardens.

    Ceremony

    In front of the waterfall.

  • 5:00 pm

    Cocktail Hour

    Drinks and Bites on the Magical Upper Garden level.

  • 6:20 pm

    Dinner

    In the Heart of the Garden, under bistro lights.

  • 7:30 pm

    Dancing

    Until the last song plays.

  • 10:00 pm

    Send Off

    A sparkler exit through the gardens.

What to wear

Dress Code

We can't wait to celebrate with you. Here's a little guidance on attire for our garden celebration.

For Men

A suit and tie or a formal dress shirt with dress pants is recommended. We kindly ask that jeans not be worn. We also kindly ask that our family and friends refrain from wearing sand-colored suits or classic tuxedos, and reserve those for the groom and his groomsmen.

For Women

We kindly request long, elegant gowns for our celebration. Please avoid dresses above the knee. To honor the bride and tradition, we also ask that family and friends refrain from wearing white or ivory-colored attire, as well as light blue or yellow, and save those colors for the wedding party and bride.

    Closest airport, about 15 minutes away. Limited regional flights.

    San Diego International

    The main hub, roughly 40 minutes south, with the widest selection of flights and rental cars.

  • SNA
    John Wayne Airport, Orange County

    About 50 minutes north, a good alternative for guests coming from LA or the north.

  • Rail
    Oceanside Transit Center

    Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and the COASTER stop a short walk from the venue (an easy, scenic, car-free option).

FAQ

Please plan to arrive by 4:00 pm (about thirty minutes before the 4:30 ceremony) so you have time to park, find your seat, and settle in before we begin.
There's no room block for this wedding, so feel free to book wherever suits you best. We've listed a few favorite Oceanside hotels under Travel above to help you choose.
To keep our celebration intimate, we're only able to welcome the guests named on your invitation. We hope you understand, and we truly can't wait to celebrate with you.
Early April in Oceanside is mild: high 60s°F by day, cooler with an ocean breeze after sunset. Bring a light layer for the evening.
As much as we love them, this will be an adults-only celebration so everyone can relax. Thank you for understanding.
Plenty: walk the historic pier, surf or rent bikes along The Strand, visit the California Surf Museum, or take a short drive to LEGOLAND and the Carlsbad Flower Fields, which are in full bloom in April.
